At Tampa Adventist Academy students in grades six and above have the opportunity to be involved in service learning and community outreach. At least twice a month TAA students volunteer at Metropolitan Ministries that serves our local community. There are a number of different jobs of service they may do while volunteering such as preparing food, sorting clothes, feeding, picking up trash, cleaning, working in the outreach store, sorting furniture and packing materials that will be given to people in need of assistance. This program is not only good for our students who need community service hours to graduate, it is also a good way to give back to our community through service to othersCampus Ministries
TAA students also have regular opportunities to lead out and minister on campus through classroom worship and school chapel programs. Students also have opportunity to be involved in a variety of activities that benefit the school, church, or community organizations or local school families.
