Principal's Message

Dear Parents:

Thank you for considering Tampa Adventist Academy. Years ago President John F. Kennedy said, “Our country’s most valuable resources are our children,” a fact that still remains true today.
Tampa Adventist Academy has nearly a one hundred year history of providing quality Christian education to students in the greater Tampa community. Currently the school serves approximately 175 students in grades Pre-K through 12 and provides a challenging and supportive environment where students develop academically, spiritually, and socially. It is a place where students excel, life-long friendships are developed, and faith is cherished.
Our school is sponsored and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist church. The Seventh-day Adventist church operates the largest Protestant educational system in the world. The school curriculum is based on the comprehensive requirements of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist and is aligned with both National and State standards. The school is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSACESS), The National Council for Private Schools Association (NCPSA), and the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities, Inc.
In addition to the core curriculum, we offer a wide variety of extra-curricular opportunities. Music is a strong emphasis and includes choir, strings, and private lessons. Varsity and intramural sports are also offered in addition to the regular athletic program. Students also have important opportunities to participate in community service and outreach activities to develop a spirit of compassion and service to help others. We endeavor to provide the highest quality education for each child so that they can be prepared for success in life. We offer our students a Christ-centered education that provides a strong spiritual, moral, and ethical foundation for life. Students are encouraged to develop leadership and character skills through service to others. To accomplish these goals, it is critical that everyone including parents, community members, church members, teachers, and school administrators work together in a collaborative and supportive manner. The most important investment you will ever make is your child’s education! We would be happy to talk with you further about our school.
If you need or want more information we are just a phone call away. Children are the future of our society and the most important investment and choice you will ever make pertains to your child’s education. I encourage you to make that choice wisely. TAA is a great place to be and I sincerely hope you will choose to become part of our vibrant school family.
